Hollow Pump™

A Hollow Pump is a versatile, efficient, compact pump featuring an all-in-one rotor / blade design. Intake and exhaust pipes, not shown, prevent flow from interfering with the rotor during operation. Utilizing the concepts of a three-phase AC synchronous motor, this type of motor is capable of the heavy lifting required along California's aqueducts, low head dams and reservoirs, as well as pumped storage and for propelling large vessels. Reduced weight, size, and complexity result in energy savings when compared to conventional designs.
